Estimator

Help customers understand the repair process while building clear, accurate collision repair estimates. This role connects the customer, insurance company, and shop team so everyone understands the damage, repair plan, and next steps.

• Inspect and document vehicle damage, including photos and repair details.
• Prepare estimates and supplements, and coordinate with insurers on repair-related questions.
• Work with technicians and the parts manager, and keep customers informed as repairs progress.

Parts Manager

Keep repairs moving by making sure the right parts are available when the team needs them. This role manages the flow of parts from ordering through installation, with close attention to accuracy, organization, and communication.

• Source and order parts based on repair plans, and track availability and delivery dates.
• Receive and inspect deliveries for correct fitment, quantity, and damage; organize parts by repair job.
• Coordinate returns, credits, and discrepancies with suppliers, and alert the team to delays.

Collision Technician

Perform careful, quality-focused collision repairs and help return vehicles to their proper condition. This hands-on role works closely with the estimator and parts manager throughout disassembly, repair, and reassembly.

• Disassemble vehicles, identify additional damage, and document repair needs.
• Repair or replace damaged body panels and components according to the repair plan and manufacturer procedures.
• Reassemble vehicles, check fit and finish, and keep tools and work areas safe and organized.

Automotive Detailer / Shop Assistant — Entry Level

Join J&L Auto Body in an entry-level role supporting our collision repair team and preparing vehicles for customer pickup. We’re looking for someone dependable who notices details, follows instructions, and is willing to learn.

• Detail vehicle interiors and exteriors, vacuum, clean windows, and carefully remove repair dust and residue.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, safely move and stage vehicles as assigned, and flag any concerns to the team.
• Organize supplies, help keep the shop clean and orderly, and assist the team with day-to-day shop tasks.
